When you uninstall a program, the operating system may leave certain files or registry entries untouched. IObit Uninstaller is freeware and it can be installed in a matter of seconds. The setup wizard will recommend installing additional tools, but you can decline, if you want to, by clicking Skip options or by unchecking certain options. The installed application takes up only 1.47 MB of disk space and it does not use too many resources.

Installed applications are listed on IObit Uninstaller's user interface and you can select them and click a button to remove them from your computer. The software will remove targeted items with their default uninstallers. When the process is complete, you may click a button to start scanning for leftover files, after which you will be able to select individual results and delete them.

The software is capable of much more than simple uninstallation processes. You can filter the listed applications, if you wish to see nothing but toolbars, recently installed items, large programs or Windows updates. Furthermore, you can uninstall several programs in a single run. If you tick the Batch Uninstall option, located above the applications list, you will be able to select more than one application and start uninstalling them with a single click.

Certain programs are almost impossible to uninstall after a long time period, due to corrupt files and the standard Windows uninstaller is rendered useless in this situation. IObit Uninstaller enables you to force uninstall such programs. You just need to select the broken program's executable and provide its exact name. You can reach a listed program's executable by right clicking its entry and selecting the appropriate option in the context menu. Additionally, you can view the program's entry in the registry editor and look it up on Google.
